A more high end approach to interviews
Content wise not your direction, but we could do a mix of promos and interviews in this style to make it more conversational. http://vimeo.com/46213057 http://vimeo.com/45562090
Here are some thoughts on styles and directions for the videos around Flexirent/Flexiway and Blink. We recommend creating high quality video with a conversational tone. It’s about creating connection and getting a feel for the people behind the brand and the kind of people who are your customers.
Authenticity is key
We recommend shooting ‘on the fly’ with a mix of high quality cutaway shots and more ‘handheld’ type footage. It’s a more relaxing environment for the interviewee, so we can capture a more genuine conversation.

Getting clients involved
We recommend a simple setup and a directing style that allows your customers to tell their story in their own words.

IRISHNESS
Find a subject your clients care about and let them tell their story. In Flexi’s case the stories would be about what Flexi enables us to do; get access to cool technology. We could talk to them about what technology enables them to do. This is an example of people talking about their identity, linked to food. It got Taste Ireland a lot of traction in the Irish community in Australia. http://vimeo.com/29471205

Frequently Asked Questions
FAQ videos need to be short and uncluttered. They also need to be filmed in a way that can be easily replicated at low cost so you get a consistent look if you decide to make additional content in the future.

Hi Rhian, Here are a few ballparks for cost with some visual examples. We base these ballparks on the following:
Three cameras
A half day rate for the camera operators.
A full day rate for the production assistant and runner for set up
Preproduction, postproduction and publishing
Technical directions, liaising with the venue, managing crew and rental companies.
Our Live Switching option
This is great if you want to either webcast or deliver right after the event; we do a live switch between three cameras so your keynote video is instantly available. As you can see, that still looks like broadcast quality video, but you cut on postproduction costs. Ballpark $ 4000-5000 http://vimeo.com/58422126
Multicamera live webcast, editing highlights
If you go for a multi cam option, it may be of interest to create short clips of the key take aways. We see those videos achieve great view counts and engagement and the cost difference is relatively small, so it’s best value. Ballpark: $ 5000-6000 http://vimeo.com/67054515
Getting the best out of your budget
We can appreciate this is a bit of an investment, so here are some thoughts on getting the most ‘mileage’ out of your shoot. If we have cameras on site, why not interview some leaders in the industry around subjects that you care about or do some more in depth discussion with the speaker? https://vimeo.com/40280793
Not in the ballpark?
It’s possible to get reasonably good coverage with two or even one camera. The look won’t be TED like, but still quite good. A one camera shoot would require editing in slides, so would typically cost around $ 2500 including shoot. Add another camera an it’s more like $ 3200.
Hey Vernon, Here are some visual examples and price ranges for videos:
High End videos 10-15k ballpark
AMP’s future of work
This is in the 12-15k ballpark, mainly because it includes several location shoots and about 5 different locations for interviews. Password: ‘Future’ (case sensitive, don’t forget the capital ‘F’) http://vimeo.com/54217175
TED X: Lost In Translation
A bit more playful, combining a script and ‘to camera’ pieces: this is about 10k. http://vimeo.com/67529500
Medium level 4-6k range
A high detail edit but all interviews done in one day.
Talkforce Testimonials
http://vimeo.com/42601926
Budget friendly options: 2-3k range
Get a few people in one place and interview them all in one go. The edit has no cutaways but we used two cameras. This would be in the $ 2-3k range.
